I love that oil, it makes my hair shine and scalp feel good...because of the peppermint oil. Peace to you, sister.

ahh i see. i guess because of my dandruff issues i have been really picky about shampoos. but, i have been wanting to try lisa's hair elixir. that is next on my list after i finish my tui jojba and shea butter hair sheen. THANKs for the love and knowledge though!

well, i was told not to put anything but the sl starter shampoo in my hair and absolutely nothing else. but, i do remember that the lady who use to retighten me would lightly mist water on my hair when she was done. i don't think it will hurt them. i just love it because it brings the life back to my babies. i, as a 2.7 year loc'er, think that it is okay. but, use something that gives a fine mist.

Beautiful locks! I have been using Frederick Fakkai clarifying shampoo. It keeps my hair VERY clean. I don't really have to use a moisturizer, but from time to time I do use Lisa's Hair Elixir made by Carol's Daughter. I think it stimulated hair growth as well. Take care.
