mortelaro (mortelaro`s disease)is the name of the person widely accepted as the person who discovered the disease,linco spectin is not licensed for use on cattle in the uk,so called cures for digital dermatitis range from washing with ordinary water and drying to the ones mentioned and many others not mentioned.some work some don`t.some will cause more serious problems than the one you are trying to cure.

mortal arrow - Never heard of that ! Seems a strange name for DD :) I have used formaldehyde in the past but is nasty stuff to work with so tried something different. I think i have seen those scratch cards for cows but never tried them and thanks in advance for checking the price of eprinex

Formaldahyde will solve the DD problem. The stuff is very painful for the cow not mention that it is a known carcinogen. We used spray it on directly or mix it in a footbath with copper sulfate.
