Yes they did. As I recall from the interview, the other children used to tease her because she had such bright red hair, very white skin, and big eyes. I find it amusing that Shirley grew up to become an international pop star and all those kids who used to tease her are probably living very mediocre lives.

hmnnnm ....not sure what it is ...but she is hot in some strange way .... could it be the way she performs on her videos? could it be how she sings? or the way she looks at the camera? perhaps all of the above? T_T ... well at least i can agree with some people that prefer the red hair on her.
