Well first off, the word you're looking for is DENSER not DENCER. But in the context of the song it would beg the question, "are we just human or is there more to us (are we denser)?"

the song was wrote, after brandon was inspired and confused by a comment made which said something like "America is raising a nation of dancers". which means each person is being raised to follow a routine, and this is totally taking away what it means to human and individual. This is why the band as are we human or are we dancer. Hope that helps anyone looking for a bit of info.badass song though!
